According to the International Coach Federation, establishing the coaching agreement is defined as:
Understanding what is required in the specific coaching interaction and coming to agreement with the prospective and new client about the coaching process and relationship.

An effective and competent coach understands that coaching agreements between the coach and the client are established both at the beginning and throughout the relationship, taking on the form of macro and micro agreements. Formal agreements at the macro level happen prior to beginning the coaching relationship.
These agreements include parameters about:
- how the coach and client work together
- what the coaching relationship offers and does not offer
- clarity of goals the client wants to accomplish
Difficulty for many coaches is how to put on the ground specific and measurable criteria for clients with different goals, needs and personality structure. In this workshop you will learn how you can use PCM (Process Communication Model) to establish effective coaching agreement with each client.
Workshop is meant for professional coaches and coaches in education.
